For those who sinned the entire month of Ramadan…
know that you have missed out on a great opportunity to attain the highest parts of Jannah. Know that you have let go of the greatest opportunity to save your face from the Hell-Fire. And you are left with no guarantee that you will be alive to witness another Ramadan next year, a month full of Allah’s forgiveness
BUT;
You are still breathing. Your heart is still beating. You are conscious. You are ALIVE. There it is. That’s your loophole.
Allah’s mercy and forgiveness is endless. Not dependent on a specific month, date or time.
Allah the Almighty said:
O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind.
O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you.
O son of Adam, were you to come to me with sins nearly as great and the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring forgiveness nearly as great as it.
[Al-Tirmidhi]
“Indeed Allah accepts accepts the repentance of a slave as long as his soul does not reach his throat (his death).” [Tirmidhi 3537]
“Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, stretches out His Hand during the night so that the people may repent for the fault committed from dawn till dusk; and He stretches out His Hand during the day so that the people may repent for the fault committed from dusk to dawn (He would accept repentance) before the sun rises from the west.”
(Muslim 2759)
The power of Tahajjud:
“Our Lord, the Blessed, the Superior, comes every night down on the nearest Heaven to us when the last third of the night remains, saying: “Is there anyone to invoke Me, so that I may respond to invocation? Is there anyone to ask Me, so that I may grant him his request? Is there anyone seeking My forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?”
[Bukhari 1145]
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“The angel on the left holds up his pen (refrains from writing down) for six hours after a Muslim commits a sin. If the person regrets it and asks Allah for forgiveness, he casts it aside (does not write it down).
[Mu’jam at-Tabaraani al-Kabeer]
This does not mean that you can always neglect Ramadan thinking you’ll have endless opportunities. No! Ramadan is the greatest opportunity of all. Your deeds are multiplied by 10 folds or more than that! The doors of Jannah are opened and the doors of Hellfire are closed. There’s Laylatul Qadr, the Night of Decreee, which is better than a 1000 months. And the reward of your fasting, is with Allah alone!
So hasten to seek forgiveness and fill up your scales with good deeds before death comes upon you and then you won’t be helped. Make a sincere intention and make dua to Allah that He makes you reach the next Ramadan where you can redeem yourself. 🤲❤️
